Apartment Review for Villages At Cloud Park - Sentry Property Management - Dayton, OH

This is such a nice looking complex but as they say, looks can be deceiving. They are extremely cheaply made, you could hear every sound made by your neighbors above AND below you and I had to make many, many repairs by myself because they refused to come and fix the problems. The toilet alone broke 5 times and they never came to fix it once. The most we ever got was a visit from one of the shady "handymen" who looked at it,(when he wasn't too busy offering to steal cable for the residents or ogling the young girls at the pool), he came, said "yep, it's broke" and then left, never to return. The area was repeatedly vandalized, one night there were over 20 cars keyed and to make matters worse, the office staff, mainly a rude woman named Jillyn, would steal my packages that were delivered to the front office. I actually have the record of her signing for my package that she kept and then denied signing for, management did nothing about it. They also made repeated complaints about my father's wheelchair "making too much noise" and repeatedly made threats of eviction and called the police (who, by the way came, listened, and told them that they didn't hear anything). When I began to protest their discriminatory and ILLEGAL treatment of my handicapped father, their behavior got worse with harassment and name calling, finally coming to a head when they held TWO months of rent that my father paid them with money orders while they filed eviction papers against him claiming he didn't pay his rent. Needless to say, they looked pretty foolish when we got to court and they were shown to be the liars that they are when I produced the receipts of the money orders to the judge. We finally and THANKFULLY got out of there but the appalling and disgusting behavior of the Villages at Cloud Park and Sentry Property Management was extremely stressful on my father and there is nothing that will ever make up for it. Really terrible. But on the plus side, PLENTY of spacious parking.
