Apartment Review for Spinnaker Cove - Dayton, OH

Spinnaker Cove is the most terrible apartment complex I've ever lived in, and I've lived in quite a few. The apartments are small and over-expensive for what's offered, absolutely nothing is included in the rent except for the crap apartment. The included appliances are all the smallest, chinsiest, cheapest pieces they could find -- they probably hope that they're so easy to break that they'll actually MAKE money on the appliances when people break them and they can charge incredible amounts higher than what they paid for them -- which I'd be surprised if it was more than $20 for the whole lot. The bathtub is the smallest I've ever seen -- you can barely stand in it without bashing your elbows against the walls -- and I'm NOT a big person. The toilet seats are very thin plastic -- like those are incredibly expensive or something!!! The refrigerator is the thinnest one they could find, and the vinyl flooring is all chipped and dirty, and after promising to have it replaced before I moved in, they took it back and said they wouldn't after I signed the lease. The paint they use on the walls is so cheap that you can run your CLEAN finger down it wrong and leave a mark!! The window seals absolutely SUCK -- I put up plastic and it had so much air pressure behind it from the cold air blowing in that it was billowing in, and wouldn't stay attached to the tape for more than a day. I asked them to do something since my heating bills became ridiculous in the winter, and all they did is come in to make sure that the windows were closed properly -- which they were! -- and then did nothing else to fix it. They tout the 9
