Apartment Review for Amhurst Apartments - Dayton, OH

I'm glad I found this site! DO NOT RENT HERE! I lived there for 2 years and in that time... my car was broken in to and my cd player, cds, and anything else of cash value was stolen; we had a drive-by shooting right across the street from a "pimp" who apparently wasn't paid; neighbors consitantly played music loud and when management was told, they said there was nothing they could do about it; a different apartment had a brawl in the parking lot, which cops were called to; the parking lot was redone WITHOUT ANY NOTICE, so one morning we were rudely awakened by a pounding at the door to move our cars; parking was a hit and miss!!!! Then... when our 30 day notice was given, they said we needed to pay the whole months rent instead of a prorated amount. Also, they said our deposit was $100 less than what it actually was!!!! Bottom line- if you move here, you will get less than what you pay for!! STAY AWAY!!!!
